Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the curtain at 4cast? Some of the most interesting stories come from the talented people who bring their passions to life both on and off the set. In this section, we're excited to introduce you to the amazing individuals who make our team unique, starting with one of our own who beautifully harmonises the worlds of music and film.
Let us introduce you to Dario Vuksanović, the frontman of Oxajo, a well-established music group in Belgrade, Serbia, and a part of 4cast since our beginnings. We like to call him the Jokić of 4cast, referencing the renowned basketball MVP Nikola Jokić. Just as Jokić is always in demand for his skills on the court, Dario once reached a point in his career where he would get every job he auditioned for.
In the first part of the interview, we asked him some questions, and in the second part gave him blitz questions where he had to rapidly answer, without much thinking.

4cast: Dario, at 4Cast, we know you as a professional who easily transforms. How much does working on commercials help you build the visual identity of the band Oxajo? Is there some secret connection between those two worlds?
DARIO: The thing that helps me in a great way is the experience of acting on commercial sets when we shoot the video for Oxajo. The band's visual identity we build ourselves.
4cast: Filming sessions often last 12 hours. Have you ever found yourself 'composing' an arrangement for a new Oxajo song in your head while you're waiting in costume on set? How do you stay focused on both fronts?
DARIO: No, I haven’t. Commercial shoots are a distinct performance for me, and I don’t think about Oxajo there.
4cast: The band Oxajo brings a specific, modern energy. Does your acting experience from casting help you more easily 'sell' emotion to the audience while you're behind the microphone?
DARIO: Live performance is quite different from filming; the type of movement is different, it's less reduced and more emphasised, unlike casting.
4cast: What was your most interesting 'transition' from one role to another? Have you ever had to run straight from a commercial shoot, in makeup and costume, to the stage?
DARIO: Unfortunately, I haven't had such an opportunity yet, but I hope I will someday.
4cast: At 4Cast, we believe that talents with passions like yours, such as music, always have an advantage. What would you say to young creatives who think they have to focus on just one thing?
DARIO: That they deal with what really burns them, so to speak, uncompromisingly. When you build that thing first, it's easy to sometimes go out of your comfort zone.
